Hepatitis A is a liver infection caught from contaminated food and water. It is common in countries with variable sanitation.
Who needs it
Travellers to Asia, Africa, Central and South America, and parts of Eastern Europe.
Dosing schedule
1 dose gives ~1 year of cover. A booster at 6–12 months extends protection to 25+ years.
Common side effects
Sore arm, mild tiredness or headache.
